STAR stands for: Situation.Task.Action.Result!
The Spinato’s RockSTAR Award, implemented in March 2015, is an honor given to one restaurant manager each month that shows exemplary decision-making and leadership skills.
We select a manager who we believe has shown that he/she is able to confront a Situation or Task, take Action to handle the circumstances, and anticipate the impact (Result) of those actions taken. Our RockSTARs not only do what is expected of them, but go above and beyond when making decisions that affect not only themselves and the restaurant, but their employees and our valued guests.
Our Inaugural RockSTAR award is given to Casey Tyler, the kitchen manager of our Central Phoenix restaurant. Casey has been with our company since 2011, and was there when we opened our Ahwatukee location. From there, she moved up to a Heart of House lead, and then advanced again to Assistant Kitchen Manager. It wasn’t long before we realized that we needed Casey’s skills at the Central Phoenix location. She transferred near the end of 2014 and was quickly promoted to Kitchen Manager in January.
Casey is a natural in a leadership position, and keeps the kitchen at Central Phoenix running smoothly. She takes any challenges head on, and isn’t afraid to get down and dirty with her team. When she isn’t working, Casey loves to spend time with her family and is a fantastic baker! She makes wonderful cakes and treats for any occasion! We are so proud of the path that Casey has taken to get here, and we look forward to seeing her continue to grow and lead within this company. Thank you Casey, you are an inspiration!
